The Liverpool Screen School seeks a highly motivated individual for a fixed term post from 1st Feb 2024 to 30th June 2024 to work in the Creative Writing department to providing teaching, administration and personal tutoring cover for a staff member on sabbatical.
We are looking to appoint a candidate with a track record in writing and publishing poetry and prose – creative, genre and/or non-fiction – and with a strong commitment to enhancing the student experience at UG and PG levels.
Creative Writing is a well-established programme with a strong research profile and reputation, particularly in Prose Fiction, Poetry, Radio Drama and Screenplay. Current research interests in the department include: Radio Drama, Crime Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Poetry & Poetics, Public Arts Projects, Travel Writing, Site-specific productions, and participatory writing within disadvantaged communities.
Reporting to the Programme Leader, you will undertake teaching and assessment, personal tutoring and administrative duties across the Creative Writing portfolio: BA (Hons) Creative Writing, BA (Hons) Creative Writing and Film Studies, BA (Hons) English Literature and Creative Writing, BA (Hons) Drama and Creative Writing and our MA Writing.
