Lecturer in Screenwriting / Playwriting - AC2334RNB, University of St Andrews

We wish to appoint a Lecturer in Screenwriting within the School of English. The successful candidate will have a track record of writing for the TV or film industry, be active as a writer and be able to deliver classes on screenwriting at undergraduate and post-graduate level. They may additionally be a playwright and write for the stage.

Excellent teaching skills and an interest in promoting knowledge exchange are essential. You should have a strong sense of the industry and experience of script development and production.

Part-time / 18.125 per week (0.5 FTE). Job shares will be considered.

Applications are particularly welcome from people from the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) community, and other protected characteristics who are under-represented in academic posts at the University.
