The Duke University English Department in North Carolina welcomes applications for a Lecturer or Assistant Professor of the Practice of Creative Writing from writers working in any national, transnational, or diasporic Anglophone tradition.

We seek candidates who are committed to undergraduate teaching of fiction and/or creative non-fiction writing. and will engage fully with the literary and intellectual life of the university and the Durham area. 

This is a non-tenure track, fixed term renewable position which begins July 1, 2019.
