Lectureship in Creative Writing, Cardiff University

The School of English, Communication and Philosophy at Cardiff University is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Creative Writing to join a team of experienced academics and creative practitioners.
The successful candidate will lead on our MA module in the Teaching of Creative Writing, and will organise and develop community engagement activities related to Creative Writing, as well as teach at both undergraduate and postgraduate level across a range of genres in ‘generalist’ modules and deliver specialist teaching in one or more of the following areas: screenwriting/scriptwriting, fiction, drama, creative non-fiction, poetry.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the full range of research and teaching activities of this dynamic unit.
The successful applicant will have a growing national/international academic reputation, an excellent record of high-quality publications and teaching, and the enthusiasm and drive to play a key role in enhancing the School’s reputation for impactful research and community engagement.
This is a Full-Time post (35 hours per week) to commence September 2022/January 2023.
