Literature Works: Young Writers’ Flash Fiction Competition 2026

Entries on the theme of ‘Between the Lines’ are invited from young writers aged 10-18 for Literature Works' Young Writers’ Flash Fiction Competition 2026.

There are two age categories: 10-14 years and 14-18 years. The maximum word count is 500 words in the 10-14 age category and 250 words in the 14-18 age category.

The lucky winners will receive cash prizes in each category of £200, £100 and £50, plus the chance to be published in the competition pamphlet and to perform their work.
