London Writers Centre: Disabled Writers Commissions 2027

London Writers Centre are inviting London-based D/deaf and/or disabled writers to apply for this developmental and profile-raising opportunity which aims to showcase new work by three writers.
Each commissioned writer will receive:
• £1,000 commission fee
• Three mentoring sessions
• 1-2-1 development and production support
• A showcase at Deptford Literature Festival 2027, plus print and online distribution
Open to 18+, London-based, D/deaf and/or disabled writers writing poetry, fiction, narrative non-fiction or writing for performance.
