Make it Happen: Fellowship Funding, Waltham Forest London Borough of Culture 2019

Waltham Forest has opened applications for the London Borough of Culture Fellowship Funding scheme which will offer grants to support ambitious cultural activity and projects to be delivered across the borough during 2019. The Fellowship Funding scheme will invest over £500,000 in artists and organisations, and will be just one of the ways that local organisations can get involved and be part of the programme.
Applications for Round 1 of Fellowship Funding are now open for two of the grants programmes:
Make it Happen: Cultural activity grants - For new arts and culture activities, that will be part of the London Borough of Culture 2019 programme, between January and July 2019.
Deadline for applications: 5pm, Monday 22 October 2018
Make It Work: Space improvement grants - Enhancing the facilities and venues of our borough to create more space for culture, indoors and out. Grants up to £10,000
Deadline for applications: 5pm, Monday 26 November
A second round will open in January 2019 for projects taking place between July and December 2019.
Applications for projects that are any art form will be considered. Applications can be made by individuals, community groups, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations.
Applicants are not required to live or work in Waltham Forest, but we would expect applicants based outside of the borough to demonstrate meaningful levels of engagement with local artists, community groups or organisations. The project must be delivered in Waltham Forest and/or be exclusively for Waltham Forest residents.
