MERZ: The Hunkering Down Residencies

MERZ is offering four three-month long ‘over-wintering’ residencies to hunker down. The opportunities would be ideal for writers, illustrators and animators looking for quiet cosy spaces but close to shops and a railway station. Open to creatives worldwide.
The Bothy residency building is on the MERZ gallery site and has two double beds, solar panels with an air heat pump and great insulation.
Tadpole on the Museum of Model Art site has a single king sized loft bed, a wood burning stove but also has great insulation.
Both buildings are en suite with WiFi and kitchen facilities. Bothy is wheelchair accessible.
The Hunkering Down residencies will run from October through December 2022 and from January through March 2023.
