Metro Poetry Competition in partnership with the Poetry Book Society

Poems on the theme of Winter are invited from all residents in the UK. There are two categories: 16 and under, or adult (over 16). A winner and a runner up from each category will see their poems published as large posters in Longbenton Metro station in early December 2021.
Plus £100 Waterstones vouchers for the category winners and £50 Waterstones vouchers for the runners up. The adult winner and runner up will also receive a year’s free membership to the Poetry Book Society.
Entries will be judged by:
• Alice Mullen from the Poetry Book Society
• Published poet Degna Stone
• A Nexus employee
