As well as having time and space to write, successful writers will have the opportunity to work with either Hannah Lavery, Horatio Clare, or Cynthia Rogerson on their current projects, while their children will be looked after by local forest school in Abriachan.

We are able to offer this unique opportunity that benefits both writers and their families thanks to generous funding by Creative Scotland Radical Care project.

A subsidised place will cost £250 and includes:
Accommodation and all meals for you and your children (up to 2 children)
Childcare at Abriachan Forest School from 10am-3pm (incl. transportation to and from MoniackMhor)
Tutoring with one of the three writers tailored to your current project

Eligibility
This tutored retreat is open to emerging Scottish (UK based) writers, working in poetry, fiction or non-fiction, with a writing project in development. Applicants may have had excerpts or articles published in the past, but not have published any major body of work. We would particularly encourage applications from those who experience barriers to the writing process.
