New Writers 100 Word Writing Competition 2026

The New Writers 100-Word Writing Competition 2026 is seeking imaginative, thought-provoking stories or poems of up to 100 words from writers aged 18 or above based anywhere in the world.
With an increased prize fund of £1,400 and the top five entries getting published on the website and in a future New Writers Anthology, this is a great competition for new and experienced writers alike.
The winner will be awarded £1,000, while four runners-up will be awarded £100 each.
Entry Fee: £10 for one entry, £18 for two entries, £26 for three entries (10% of entry fee proceeds will be donated to Duchenne UK)
