New Writing North: Young Creative Associates

Do you have a new creative project you want to launch? Maybe you have ideas for expanding your own writing practice but are unsure of where to start? Perhaps you want to start thinking long-term about your freelance career? Young Creative Associates is a new 9-month development programme open to 18-30-year-olds living in the North of Tyne area.
Participants will be supported to explore sustainable routes of self-employment and will develop knowledge of business basics, financial management, fundraising, networking and project development skills.
Alongside five developmental group workshops, participants will receive five hours of dedicated one-to-one mentor support and a bursary grant of up to £1000 to put towards business costs.
