Outreach officer, Primadonna Festival CIC

Primadonna was established in 2019 to provide a literary festival that showcased women writers and authors of all genders currently underrepresented in publishing. It aims to level up the book world and provide an aspirational, world-class festival experience that is welcoming to, and inclusive of, all people.
We are committed to sharing the Primadonna experience with those who might not otherwise attend a literary festival. Our outreach officer will identify and engage a range of communities in Stowmarket and across mid-Suffolk to participate in the planning, programming and experience of the Primadonna festival.
This will include creating new links to hard-to-reach communities, forging connections with literary/literacy groups and identifying other community/activist/local groups that might benefit from or simply enjoy the Primadonna experience.
The role requires someone with meticulous organizational skills, a keen eye for detail and a range of existing contacts across the arts/literary/community sectors in midSuffolk.
Contract: four months’ fixed term (from 15 March 2021 to 15 August 2021), one day per week (a total of 18 weeks)
