Sheffield Youth Justice Service is seeking Expressions of Interest from participatory artists working in South Yorkshire with availability during July and August to support the delivery of our Summer Arts College.
Supported by TiPP, Sheffield's Summer Arts College, entitled 'My Life', is an intensive arts-based intervention for ten young people currently under the supervision of Sheffield Youth Justice Service www.sheffield-yos.org.uk/
Taking place from 29 July - 16 August 2019, it will allow the young people to experience a number of art forms, developing their skills and experience while creatively exploring issues relevant to them, their interests, concerns and experiences.
The participants will encounter excellence from arts practitioners, be inspired to take part, make their own work, and (re)engage with learning. Young People will also achieve an Arts Award at the highest possible level appropriate for them individually.
We are recruiting Lead, Sessional and Visiting artists. We are also seeking Emerging artists to support the programme. The Programme is designed to be varied, so we are interested in hearing from practitioners in a range of art forms.
