Paul Hamlyn Foundation (PHF): Teacher Development Fund Now Open

The Teacher Development Fund supports partnerships between arts organisations and groups of 6–10 primary schools, to work together to embed arts-based approaches in classrooms. Grants of up to £165k available.

Through the Teacher Development Fund, PHF supports primary schools and arts organisations to work in partnership – bringing creativity into classrooms and helping every child learn and thrive.

Grants of up to £165,000 are available for partnerships between arts organisations and groups of 6–10 primary schools. Over two academic years, funded projects will:

Equip teachers to use arts-based approaches in the primary classroom
Embed rich, arts-based approaches across the curriculum
Support pupils to overcome barriers to learning
Share their learning as part of a UK-wide community of practice
