Examples of the kind of associations to Scotland we are looking for would include, but are not limited to:

- Romance works by authors who are Scottish or Scotland-based
- Romance set in historical, present day, or near-future Scotland
- Romance/fantasy taking place in a Scotland-inspired setting

Submissions are open to previously published or first-time authors alike. We are especially interested in submissions from underrepresented groups in publishing, such as those from ethnically diverse or socioeconomically marginalised backgrounds, the LGBTQ+ community, disabled writers and religious minorities, as well as stories featuring these characters and themes.
