Press and Media Manager, The Reading Agency

The Reading Agency is looking for an ambitious and experienced manager to lead on our press and media strategy. This is an exciting new role within our Marketing and Communications Team.
As a national charity, we tackle life's big challenges through the proven power of reading. We work closely with partners to develop and deliver programmes for people of all ages and backgrounds; our vision is for a world where everyone is reading their way to a better life.
The Press and Media Manager will have a vital role to play in raising The Reading Agency’s profile across all types of media as we move our PR and Media expertise in house.
You will need a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience of press/PR work in agency or public sector, working for cultural, publishing, charity or educational sectors. You will be a collaborative big picture thinker, with excellent communication skills, a flair for writing and instinct for what makes a great story.
