Writers’ Centre Norwich is a dynamic literary organisation whose mission is to explore the artistic and social impacts of creative writing. We are audience-focused and art form-led, with a clear agenda of excellence, engagement and experimentation.
We are seeking to recruit a Programme Manager to work with Programme Director Mitchell Albert, two other Programme Managers and the rest of the WCN team to realise these ambitious goals.
This is a fixed-term post to provide maternity cover for one of our Programme Managers whose current responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following WCN programmes:
Escalator - You will be responsible for administrating this mentorship programme.
Worlds - Your duties will include inviting guests; co-programming events; contracting; preparing materials; and accommodation and catering logistics.
Writers’ Services - Your duties will include programming and planning these professional
development courses.
Live Literature - Working alongside national and regional partners you will be responsible for the co-planning and delivery of a live literature development project for artists.
In order to take up this busy programme of work, the successful candidate will have a knowledge of and passion for literature, with at least two years’ experience of delivering a literature programme and proven organisational skills.
