Southbank Centre is the UK’s largest arts centre, occupying a 17 acre site that sits in the midst of London’s most vibrant cultural quarter on the South Bank of the Thames. We are looking for a well-organised and dedicated Programming Assistant who is ready to combine existing PA and administrative experience with a keen interest in literature, to support our Literature & Spoken Word team.
The postholder will maintain an administrative overview of the literature team's programming activity, including arranging meetings, monitoring budgets, preparing deal memos and liaising with publishers. They will also provide PA and administrative support to the Head of Literature & Spoken Word.
With demonstrable experience of providing a high standard of PA and administrative support, the ideal candidate will be able to prioritise a heavy workload and work well in a fast paced environment.
They will have outstanding administration skills, excellent IT skills and high levels of accuracy in work produced.
With strong written and verbal communication skills, they will be able to work well with a wide range of people, including internal and external stakeholders, with tact and diplomacy and be confident in your ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
