Projects Manager, Edinburgh International Book Festival
Deadline: Wed 3 Oct 2018
We are seeking a full-time Projects Manager to plan, co-ordinate and ensure the effective delivery of the On the Road programme, achieving maximum impact for audiences and partners, and contributing to the Festival’s strategic vision.

A celebration of words and ideas, On the Road blends the very best from groups and organisations across the country with the energy and excitement of the August Book Festival. This wide-ranging programme of events and projects brings authors, artists and audiences together to inspire each other and to be inspired, to share stories and experiences, and bring books to life for people of all ages in their own communities. On the Road is a key part of our strategy to grow and diversify our audiences and improve equality of access.

The Projects Manager works with teams across the organisation to develop and deliver a programme ranging from high profile, one off author events to sustained artist residencies within diverse communities. On the Road is created and produced with partners including libraries, arts organisations, theatre groups, artists, academic institutions, community groups, prisons, reading groups and many more.
