Riptide: Call for submissions for issue 15, Breath
Deadline: Mon 29 Aug 2022
Riptide is an Exeter-based literary journal founded in 2006 by Virginia Baily and Sally Flint which publishes new writing by established and emerging writers. Riptide invites short story writers to pause and write a story (up to 3500 words) inspired by the theme of our next issue, BREATH.

Whether it’s pressed out or held beyond endurance, bated or panted, BREATH animates our next issue. From the first breath to the last one, or any of those in between, we want to see where the theme will take you.

Selected stories will receive a fee of £50 per 1000 words and a print copy of Riptide 15.
