RSL Ondaatje Prize 2023

Submissions are open for the RSL Ondaatje Prize, an annual award of £10,000 for a distinguished work of fiction, non-fiction or poetry, evoking the spirit of a place.
The Prize is open to any full-length work of fiction or non-fiction, or volume of poetry, which evokes the spirit of a place, and which is written by a citizen of the UK, Commonwealth or Republic of Ireland, or a writer who has been resident in the UK for three years.
All entries must be published (in any format) for the first time in the UK or RoI within the calendar year 2022.
Books may be entered only by trade publishers based in the UK or RoI (regardless of the author’s citizenship or residency). Authors may not enter themselves.
