The Sales Co-ordinator is part of a small Marketing & Sales team responsible for achieving targets to maintain and grow Mslexia’s income and public profile.
Mslexia is an award-winning publishing company producing a range of print and digital publications, along with an events programme and a portfolio of annual writing competitions, for a highly educated audience of women writers.
Due to the literary nature of the company’s ‘products’ and the sophistication of its target audience, there is a close working relationship between the Marketing & Sales (M&S) team and the Editorial & Outreach (E&O) team.
Mslexia is supported chiefly by the income from sales of its publications, advertising opportunities, event tickets and competition entry fees, so the M&S Team are a vital part of the company.
Mslexia became a registered charity in 2019 in recognition of the work it does to support women writers and promote gender equality in literature.
