Senior Lecturer in Creative and Professional Writing - Fiction, University of the West of England, Bristol

This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing Creative and Professional Writing undergraduate degree programme in the Department of Arts and Cultural Industries. The team is committed to sharing their ongoing experiences of professional practice in order to develop the creativity of students following the BA (Hons.) Creative & Professional Writing degree.

We are seeking a new colleague whose teaching expertise complements the profile of existing staff. The postholder will be responsible for teaching and developing modules in the broad areas of fiction and (narrative) non-fiction. You will draw on your professional expertise as a published author, and your teaching experience, to develop the creative practice of groups of undergraduate students. This will entail teaching groups, as well as mentoring and supervising individual students.

In the first instance, this post is fixed term for 2 years and part-time (0.5 FTE). It is based at our lively Frenchay campus. (Job Ref: 1722707)
