Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing, University of Cumbria

The multi-award winning University of Cumbria is a wonderful blend of old and new, founded on a rich educational history with institutions dating back more than 150 years, based at campuses in and around the Lake District and with a recent addition in London. We are looking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing who will have Programme Leadership responsibilities for BA Creative Writing.

The applicant should hold a PhD in the field of either English Literature or Creative Writing, and should have experience of teaching both subject areas in a HE context.

You will be required to teach across a range of genres and modules in Creative Writing at both BA and M-level and will be required to contribute to the delivery of English Literature programmes (BA and MA) as appropriate.

Expertise in place-writing within any genre will be an advantage as will prior experience in designing or developing online teaching materials. You should also have a demonstrable track record of publication in the field of Creative Writing that has the potential for REF submission.
