Senior Lecturer in English and Creative Writing, Newman University, Birmingham

Newman University are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to teach on the BA (Hons) English and Creative Writing programme and to develop provision in creative, professional and applied programmes. Fixed term for 2 years.

The role includes:
To lead and teach the existing creative writing modules on the BA (Hons) English and Creative Writing programme and any other appropriate modules within the department.
To support the development of new creative and professional programmes at undergraduate and post-graduate level.
To act as a personal tutor, providing academic and pastoral support, including signposting to relevant University support systems.
To prepare, deliver and mark course work and assignments; to supervise dissertations and project work; to provide feedback in a timely manner.
To support the academic, administrative and development activities of the Department.
