Shoreline of Infinity: Call out for disabled and/or neurodivergent writers
Deadline: Tue 13 Jul 2021
Shoreline of Infinity are looking for short stories, poetry, non-fiction and reviews with a focus on sci-fi from disabled and/or neurodivergent writers. The submission window is between 11 - 13 July 2021.
Short stories can be any length between 6 and 6000 words.
Poems can be up to 100 lines long. Writers may include up to 5 poems per submission.
Reviews can be up to 800 words long. We welcome reviews of all kinds of media so long as the content is relevant to sci-fi storytelling. Your review may focus on accessibility and/or representation if you wish, but this is not a requirement.
Our goal is to publish an issue of Shoreline of Infinity celebrating disabled and/or neurodivergent people’s contributions. Your work is very welcome to engage with themes relating to disability and/or neurodivergence, but this is not a requirement.
This special issue will be guest edited by Jo Ross-Barrett, an autistic non-binary person who has depression and anxiety, and published in digital format in November 2021.
Entry fee: None
