Social Media Manager - 2020 Festival, Jewish Book Week

Jewish Book Week is an international literary festival held once a year across multiple venues in London. The festival has around 80 events taking place over 10 days on a broad range of topics including literature, history, art and music. Jewish Book Week 2020 will run from 29 February – 8 March 2020.

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of a social media marketing and communications strategy across all platforms for Jewish Book Week 2020.

This includes: Planning, implementing and evaluating all social media activities before and during the festival / Managing all festival social media channels including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram / Creating all social media content including graphics, gifs, paid advertisements and event listings / Building relationships with key individuals including book bloggers, publishers, event partners and sponsors, and journalists / Planning and organising competitions and giveaways on social media channels / Develop and implement appropriate digital strategies to support audience development.

The Social Media Manager will have demonstrable experience in social media management, ideally within or related to the publishing or events industry. You will work closely with the Festival Director and Head of Production to play a key role in engaging with and growing our audience. 

This is a part-time contract for 2 days per week from 2 December 2019 to 9 March 2020. You must be available to work from our office in Camden, London and must be able to work for the entirety of the festival period, which includes weekends and evenings.
