Spoken Word Poet Facilitators, Eastside Educational Trust
Deadline: Mon 8 Nov 2021
Eastside is looking for experienced freelance facilitators in spoken word poetry to join our artist pool and help us deliver our upcoming Spoken Word Power programme in primary, secondary and SEND schools across London both this academic year and beyond.

The programme will run for at least three years, to creatively champion the spoken word, nurture positive attitudes to language and learning, and provide a platform for the young voices of a generation. If you are a poet educator with a proven track-record of delivering participatory work with children and young people we’d love to hear from you.

Eastside is a market-leading creative education charity inspiring thousands of children and young people each year across London and the UK.

We empower young lives and youth voice through participation in arts programmes, developing creativity, confidence, resilience, social, technical and employability skills among children and young people giving them the tools and platforms to express their voices.

We have a particular focus on poetry and spoken word, film, digital arts, and drama and champion equal access to creative opportunities for all young lives and seek to reduce barriers to participation for those in under-served communities.
