StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival: Fifebuilt - Poetry Mentorship Opportunity

Inspired by the Clydebuilt mentorship programme, Fifebuilt aims to provide three Fife-based emerging poets with a rare mentorship opportunity to develop their practice with renowned poet John Glenday.
The mentoring will be given over the course of the months July 2026-March 2027, and will consist of three group tutorials, plus two one-to-one sessions.
Participants will then perform as part of an event at the 2027 StAnza: Scotland’s International Poetry Festival in March 2027, for which they will receive performance fees and travel costs within Fife will be covered.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be living in Fife, cannot be involved in any other writing course or receiving any other structured writing supports as of June 2026 and should not yet have brought out a full-length poetry collection. We warmly welcome applications from underrepresented and marginalised groups.
