Winner receives £1400, second prize £400, third prize £200.

This competition is open to published and unpublished writers of all ages who reside in the UK.

This year's judges are Anna Metcalfe, Rowan Hisayo Buchanan and Elizabeth James. Entries will be judged on literary merit, interpretation of theme and originality of ideas.

Winners will be invited to a prize-giving at the Surrey New Writers Festival held in the Rik Medlik building, the University of Surrey on May 18th 2024.
