Teaching Associate in Creative Writing, University of Nottingham

The School of English is seeking to appoint a part-time Teaching Associate in Creative Writing with a specialism in fiction. This is a part-time post (18 hours per week) for a fixed term period from 1 September 2022 to 30 June 2023.

We are seeking applications from candidates whose background, experience and identity broadens and enhances the diversity of our existing team. The person appointed will undertake teaching within the School of English in the field of Creative Writing, convening and teaching on specialist undergraduate and postgraduate fiction modules, including digital storytelling, as well as other team-taught creative writing modules.

You will have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant area of Creative Writing, with a specialism in writing fiction. You will also have evidence of your ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering the above areas. Experience of distance learning teaching is desirable.

Mentoring towards further career progression will be offered throughout the period of the post.
