Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing – Fiction, in the Department of English. This is a fixed-term post for 12 months from 1 September 2020 to 31 August 2021.
The successful candidate will join a team of prize-winning writers in the department, including seven Fellows of the Royal Society of Literature.
You will have a national profile as an author and a good publication record, and experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will have demonstrated the ability to work with others in teaching and/or administration.
Candidates will be expected to provide teaching in creative writing at BA and MA levels, with an emphasis on fiction, to foster the work of students seeking publication, and to contribute to co-curricular enrichment activities.
This post will be partly based at the College’s central London building in Bedford Square WC1 and partly based at the College’s main site at Egham.
