Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing, Royal Holloway, University of London

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Creative Writing in the English Department, to start September 2025 and running for 10 months.

Creative writing is expanding at RHUL. Joining the CW team at an exciting phase of ongoing development, this key appointment will teach both MA and UG level students. The primary focus of the job is fiction. Experience in other forms of creative writing and the ability to teach them, though not a requirement, may be an advantage. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to 1st year Creative Writing, 2nd Year Fiction and take seminars on the Reorienting the Novel module.

Applicants should have a proven record of high-quality publication and teaching. 

The post is based in Egham, Surrey.  Some teaching is to be scheduled at Bedford Square in Central London.
