The 2023 EACWP Flash Fiction Contest | VI Edition

Entries of 100 words flash-fiction text are invited for this year’s competition. The topic is 'incorrect' and the 11 European languages for entries are English, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, French, German, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish, Hebrew and Czech.

“Incorrect” is the topic convened for this new competition in the same 100 words snapshot format.

Each participant may submit as many texts as he/she wants.

This initiative aims to promote and encourage literary creation in Europe, bringing European writers together in a joint competition. Some of the aims of this contest are:
• To encourage a European citizenship through cultural and literary interchange.
• To promote creative writing in the different European languages as a way to preserve our valuable linguistic histories.
• To foster talent within the field of creative writing in Europe.

The contest is open to any participant living in Europe (including countries culturally linked to Europe such as Russia, Turkey, and Israel).

Prizes:
1st prize 600€
Runner-up 400€
