The A9 Bursary, Moniack Mhor Creative Writing Centre
Deadline: Mon 31 Aug 2020
Moniack Mhor’s mission is to support emerging writers from all over the world, from all walks of life and from all backgrounds. As a national charity based in Scotland, we would like to provide additional encouragement and support to UK based women writers who experience discrimination and inequality, including writers from black and ethnic minority backgrounds, LGBTQ writers and working-class writers.

Thanks to the generous support of two writers, we can now offer a short-term bursary scheme for women writers over the age of 18 who identify as from a BAME background, as LGBTQ or as working class.

Bursaries may be used to support fees for residential courses at Moniack Mhor Creative Writing Centre, or for costs such as childcare or travel to courses to enable attendance at a course at monica Mhor Creative Writing Centre.

For further information and to apply, please visit our website

The deadline is Monday 31 August 2020 at 10:00.

Please note that Moniack Mhor continues to operate a wider bursary programme for any writer who may find fees a barrier to accessing our courses and support.
