The Blackness on Sea Poetry Prize 2022
Deadline: Wed 7 Sep 2022
The Blackness on Sea Poetry Prize is a quest to find a poem of genuine literary merit to become a lasting legacy for The Lobster Pot Pub and this delightful village on the Firth of Forth. First Prize £1000. Open to all. Free to enter.

The substantial prize of £1000 and a trophy shield will be awarded for the poem judged to be of most literary merit containing a reference, not necessarily complimentary, to "The Lobster Pot" and "Blackness on Sea" somewhere in the composition.

This is a genuine endeavour to find a lasting work which will pass down the ages and possibly attract some budding Burns or McGonagall.

Remember the poems do not need to be about the Pub or the Village, just a fleeting mention of these to give a point to the competition.

Runner Up prize of £200 and a Trophy.
