The Caledonia Novel Award 2022

The Caledonia Novel Award is an annual award for unpublished and self-published novelists. Open to writers over the age of eighteen of any nationality and resident in any country. Entrants must be unagented at the time of submission.
Novels can be in any genre for adults or young adults. Min 50,000 words in length.
Prize: £1,500, and a trophy specially designed by Edinburgh artist Lucy Roscoe
Special Prize: a free place on a writing course at Moniack Mhor Creative Writing Centre for the best novel from the UK and Ireland
Entry fee: £25 per novel We offer a number of sponsored places to writers who might not otherwise be able to afford to enter
Judge: Alice Lutyens, literary agent at Curtis Brown
