The Foyle Young Poets of the Year Award 2025

Poems (max 40 lines) on any theme are invited from young poets aged 11-17 living anywhere in the world. This year's judges are Colette Bryce and Will Harris. Free to enter.
100 winners (15 top winners and 85 commended winners) will be chosen and receive their awards at an annual prize-giving event in the autumn.
Prizes include membership of The Poetry Society, a stack of poetry goodies, opportunities to receive mentoring and develop your creative writing skills alongside fellow poets, or benefit from poetry residencies at your school or online writing workshops.
Thanks to funding from the Foyle Foundation, the competition remains completely free to enter.
