The National Poetry Competition 2018: Deadline is fast approaching

One of the biggest single poem competitions in the world, the National Poetry Competition is open to anyone aged 17 or older. The competition is for previously unpublished poems of up to 40 lines in length. Entries can be on any subject. Deadline is 31 October 2018.
First Prize: £5000
Second Prize: £2000
Third Prize: £1000
Seven commendations: £200
Judges: Kei Miller • Kim Moore • Mark Waldron
Entry Fee: The first poem submitted costs £7. Subsequent entries in the same submission cost £4 per poem. Poetry Society members (including those joining at time of submission) get a free second poem, with subsequent poems at £4.
