The Phare Literary Magazine: Call for submissions
Deadline: Sun 25 Jul 2021
The Phare invites short fiction and poetry submissions on the theme of COAST for its Autumn 2021 issue.

The Phare is a UK based literary magazine which, true to its name, shines a light on exceptional writing and photography from around the world. As well as showcasing creative works of new fiction and poetry, we provide writing resources: an online writers’ forum, live online and traditional workshops, masterclasses and retreats.

Please send no more than one short story (up to 2000 words), two flash fictions (up to 500 words) or four poems (max 40 lines).

Submission Fees:
Short Fiction up to 2000 words £3.00
Creative Non Fiction £3.00
1 Poem £2.00 Up to 4 Poems £3.00

Due to the increasing costs of maintaining the website, we have reluctantly made the decision to charge for submissions. We have ten free entries on a first come, first served basis for students, low income and unemployed writers.
