The Tower Poetry Grants Scheme offers two strands of grants to promote the understanding and enjoyment of poetry in English in schools with amounts from £500 to £15,000.
The
Development Grants strand offers grants of up to £15,000 to fund innovative projects that promote the excellent teaching of poetry in the classroom. This may include projects that improve pedagogical practice or advocate for change in the curriculum and assessment system.
The
Schools Grants strand offers primary and secondary schools grants of up to £500 to further the understanding, enjoyment, and teaching of poetry in English. This may include CPD opportunities, book clubs, trips and visits, and resources.
Deadline: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until at least the end of the academic year 2027-28.
