Are you a writer aged 11-16 years? We are looking for young writers in any genre or form to be part of our mentoring programme and take your writing to the next level!
Six lucky applicants will receive FREE access to monthly creative writing workshops in Redruth, including masterclasses with published writers, 1-1 mentoring to develop your writing, and a chance to share and publish your work.
The programme runs from September 2025 to July 2026 and consists of 11 monthly creative writing workshops along with 1-1 creative writing mentoring and a chance to share your work. Workshops are led by writers Sarah Connors, Olivia Lowry and Casey Bottono, with each session focusing on a different theme, genre, or writing skill. Guest professional writers who specialise in a specific area of writing teach Masterclasses on their specialist topics such as gothic horror, poetry, journalism or writing for the screen.
Please note, this is an opportunity for young people who will be in secondary school in September. If you will be 11 but still in Primary School in September, please apply next year instead.
