Two New Roles on the AHRC Creative Writing Together Project at Goldsmiths, University of London
Goldsmiths, University of London are currently recruiting for two new roles connected to its AHRC funded Creative Writing Together project based at Goldsmiths, University of London for a three-year fixed term period from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2029.
Creative Writing Together is a major Arts and Humanities Research Council funded project exploring the power of creative writing to support reflection, empathy, and dialogue across generations. Through workshops, research, and partnerships with schools and community organisations, the project investigates how writing can help people better understand themselves and others.
The two roles:
Research Assistant (.5 FTE)
This is a 0.5 post (17.5 hours per week) supporting the research dimension of the project.
Short Courses and Training Officer (.2 FTE)
This is a 0.2 post (7 hours per week) focused on the community and training dimension of the project.
Both roles offer an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high profile research project while working directly with schools, community groups, and creative writing practitioners across London. The posts combine elements of research, teaching, creative facilitation, and community engagement, and are based in the Subject of Education at Goldsmiths, a department known for its commitment to social justice, creativity, and innovative educational practice.
