Where the Land Forgets Itself: The Zine – Call out for submissions
Deadline: Fri 15 Aug 2025
Where the Land Forgets Itself: The Zine will feature 10 poets from across the UK sharing their own connection to seaside towns, the tidal environment and the unique culture that emerges on the coast.

“Seaside towns are unique places that have struggled over the past 100 years, and face a variety of socioeconomic hardships, however they have also been incubators for much of the country's culture and arts developments.” – Dan Thompson

Where the Land Forgets Itself is more than one man’s experience of one seaside town. It’s an attempt to unify the narratives of the coastal communities of Britain.

Each poet selected will receive £100 and a contributor's copy of the zine.
