Write By The Sea Literary Festival 2024 Writing Competition

Write By The Sea is a dynamic, boutique literary festival set in the beautiful fishing village of Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford. There are four competition categories with cash prizes for the winners and runners up.
1. Fiction Short Story (maximum 2,500 words)
2. Flash Fiction (maximum 700 words)
3. Poetry (maximum 40 lines)
4. Memoir/Personal Essay (maximum 1,000 words)
An independent panel of judges will select the winners and each category winner will be invited to read their work at a public event as part of the festival. Winners of each category will receive a cash prize of 500 euros and runners up will receive 300 and 200 euros.
Entry fee: 10 euros per entry or 3 entries for 25 euros
