Newcastle Writing Conference is a must-attend event for aspiring and early career writers looking to promote their work, network with fellow writers and understand more about the publishing industry
The conference features a choice of creative writing workshops and advice sessions, along with a must-see panel on industry trends, and a keynote speech by leading author Louise Doughty, whose seventh novel Apple Tree Yard was recently adapted for BBC One.

Some of the highlights include:

  • Meet the agent sessions with literary agents Kate Barker and Ella Kahn, including one session with a children’s literature focus
