Held in National Trust’s Nymans Gardens in Sussex, this workshop is designed to provide an encouraging and inspiring space in which to explore your imagination and to help you get your words flowing

Held in the rustic potting shed within in the beautiful surroundings of National Trust’s Nymans Gardens in Sussex,  this creative writing workshop is designed to provide an encouraging and inspiring space in which to explore your imagination and to help you get your words flowing. Should the autumn chill set in, fear not: the potting shed comes with its own wood-burning stove to keep us cozy and our inspiration warm.

Deborah will offer you strategies to take away the fear of the blank page and will encourage you to find your writing voice.

During the day you will be guided through a series of writing exercises aimed at engaging all your senses and there will be an opportunity (weather permitting) to allow the natural surroundings to inspire your writing.

The workshop will run from 10.00am until 3.30pm with a 45 minute break for lunch. The cost of the workshop is £35 and includes tea, coffee and cake and entrance to Nymans Gardens. (Please advise about any dietary requirements at time of booking). Lunch can be bought at Nymans Café or you can bring your own packed lunch.

Part of the workshop may include a short walk in the gardens, weather permitting. If you have any mobility problems, please let Deborah know in advance. The Potting Shed is wheelchair accessible and there are accessible toilets close by.
