The Power of Creative Collaboration
Wed 23 Sep 2015 to Wed 23 Sep 2015
Are you a creative arts practitioner or organisation based in or around the Scottish Borders? Interested in exploring the rewards and challenges of creative collaboration?

Wednesday 23 September 2015, 5.30pm – 8.30pm (Light buffet available from 5.00pm)
Mac-Arts, Bridge Street, Galashiels, TD1 1SP

Presented as part of NAWE’s Turning a New Page Programme in association with CABN.

Calling all creative people - musicians, writers, artists, makers, performers… and everything in between!

Are you a creative arts practitioner or organisation based in or around the Scottish Borders? Interested in exploring the rewards and challenges of creative collaboration? Have you ever wondered how creative collaborations work, and want to find out more?   How does it work in a practical sense - whether exploratory, partnerships, formally funded, or just for fun?

This informal event is a great opportunity to hear case studies from writer Ken Cockburn and choreographer Claire Pencak as they talk about the role that collaboration plays in their work. It's also an opportunity to network with likeminded creatives and discuss the pros and cons of collaborating and how it can challenge and develop your practice.

Even if you're just a bit curious…do come along!
