Do Writers Need Editors?
Tue 27 Oct 2015 to Tue 27 Oct 2015
Join academic and editorial expert Susan Greenberg who will be launching her publication, Editors Talk about Editing: Insights for Readers, Writers and Publishers

The book collects interviews with writers, publishers and editorial practitioners at the top of their game across newspaper publications, magazines, book publishing, broadcast news, academic publishing and digital curation. Each interview encourages responses that explore related aspects of creativity and human judgment, and reflect upon how editing skills and culture can be shared, and why it remains central in the rapidly changing digital age.

Susan joins literary agent Carole Blake, novelist Jacob Ross, and other guests (tbc) in a vibrant and informative panel discussion about the editing process, asking the question: ‘do writers need editors?’. This talk will be chaired by award-winning writer, journalist and broadcaster Anita Sethi.
